The TSF Inter Academy is a supplemental Player Training Development Program designed to locate and develop talented young players. It is an Academy for elite level players designed to supplement their local NJYS team program and for those who could have the future potential to play in the TSF Academy Premier programs.

The TSF Inter Academy is operated at the following age groups:
- U9, U10, U11 and U12 Boys
- U9, U10, U11 and U12 Girls

The TSF Inter Academy exposes players to a professional and competitive development opportunity without interfering with their regular Club team program. The program involves age appropriate instruction, indoor league and outdoor tournament play.

Our goal is to build a strong foundation for future success in each and every player.

Technical development training program*

Players will attend their own age-specific training session and will have the opportunity to participate in our Pro-Elite training program on Monday and Wednesday’s as your schedule allows. Each player can potentially attend up to 3 sessions per week during the Fall training program. The Pro-Elite training will focus on one of the three components listed opposite or a combination of them during the 60 minute sessions. The Inter Academy 10 week training program focuses on developing:

• A positive, fun and challenging training environment
• Individual ball handling skills, confidence and creativity
• Running mechanics, balance and agility
• Correct and efficient form and posture of key soccer techniques:
• Dribbling, control, passing, shooting and heading
• An Understanding of Combination Play at the individual level
• A love of the game, discipline and respect for staff and opponents

The Inter Academy curriculum is progressive. Players are given the opportunity and support to learn and then master soccer techniques. This will create a more polished player capable of bringing these technical skills into games.
